MOL Magyar Olaj- és Gázipari Nyrt., together with its subsidiaries, operates as an integrated oil and gas company in Central and Eastern Europe.

The company engages in the exploration and production of crude oil, natural gas, and other gas products; refining, transportation, storage, and distribution of crude oil and crude oil products at retail and wholesale; transmission of natural gas; and the production and sale of olefins and polyolefins.

It also offers lubricants, including automotive motor and gear oils, industrial oils, specialty lubricants, metalworking fluids, greases, additives, and automotive chemicals.

As of December 31, 2007, the company's gross proved developed and undeveloped reserves were 255.4 MMboe, consisting of 130.3 MMboe of natural gas and 125.1 MMboe of crude oil.

It also operated 994 petrol stations, including 357 in Hungary, 209 in Slovakia, 30 in the Czech Republic, 122 in Romania, 35 in Croatia, and 176 in Italy.

Mol Magyar has strategic co-operation agreements with Czech Energy Company and Oman Oil Company S.A.O.C., as well as strategic partnership with INA. d.d.

The company is based in Budapest, Hungary.
