Golf tournament fees are not included in the above conference pricing. The conference registration fee includes breakfasts, luncheon(s), reception, refreshments, and post-conference documentation. Payment in full is required for attendance. If payment or proof of payment is not received before the start of the event, our staff will require a credit card guarantee to allow entry. All onsite registrations will be charged an additional $100.

Golf Tournament Info:
This year’s golf outing will be held on Sunday, January 18th at The JW Marriott Wildfire Golf Club. The fee is $215 per player. Lunch will not be provided; a snack cart will be available on the course. Club rentals cost $60 and include 2 sleeves of balls. Details and itinerary will be e-mailed to registered golf participants a few days prior to the event. Tee time is scheduled for 12:00 pm on Sunday, January 18th. There are no refunds for golf registrations. Clubs are Callaway Big Bertha Irons with Callaway Hyper Woods. Shoe rentals are $20 and are supplied by Footjoy. If you need to rent golf clubs or shoes for the tournament please contact Laura Howe directly at laura_howe@platts.com.

A limited number of rooms has been reserved for Platts Aluminum Symposium 2009 participants at The JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa at a rate of $269/night, single or double occupancy. The discounted rate will be honored until Friday, January 2, 2009 — based on availability. Substitutions & Cancellations:
Your registration may be transferred to a member of your organization up to 24 hours in advance of the conference. Cancellations must be received in writing on or before January 2, 2009 in order to be refunded, less a $195 administrative charge. No refunds will be made after this date; however, if you notify Platts of your cancellation in writing prior to the event, the registration fee less the $195 administrative charge can be credited to another Platts conference within 6 months from the date of this conference. Credits must be applied at the time of registration. In case of conference cancellation, Platts liability is limited to refund of the conference registration fee only. Platts reserves the right to alter this program without prior notice.
